These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Aven AI Quiz at aven.kartexa.com ("the Portal"), operated by Aven Academy under the Kartexa umbrella. By logging in or using the Portal, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts & Access
Institute accounts (students/teachers) are created by an admin or teacher on behalf of the student/teacher.
Individual students may self-register directly on the Portal by paying the applicable subscription fee via the QR/UPI details shown at signup and submitting their payment reference for verification; the account is activated once payment is confirmed, usually within 24 hours.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
Sharing your login with another person to attempt a quiz on your behalf is not permitted and may be treated as academic misconduct.
2. Academic Integrity
Each quiz may generally be attempted only once per student, per the schedule window set by your teacher/admin.
The Portal includes anti-cheating measures such as fullscreen mode, tab-switch detection, and copy/paste restrictions during a live quiz. Repeated violations may result in your quiz being automatically submitted.
Attempting to bypass these measures, or to access quiz content outside your assigned class or schedule window, is prohibited.
When attempting a community-generated quiz, only the quiz's topic/name is shown to you — the identity of the student who created it is kept private and is not disclosed.
3. Role-Based Use
Students (institute) may take quizzes assigned to their class and view/share only their own results.
Individual students (self-serve plan) get a restricted set of features — Home, Community Quiz, Generate Quiz, and Result & Profile only. The live game/leaderboard section is not part of this plan.
Teachers may create, schedule and manage quizzes, students and submissions strictly within the classes assigned to them by an admin.
Admins have full administrative control across all classes, users and quiz content, and are responsible for account provisioning and portal configuration. Admins may create Subadmin accounts with a restricted subset of admin permissions.
A student's school/institute affiliation and account activity history are visible to the admin only, and are not exposed to other students, teachers, or subadmins without the relevant permission.
4. Plans, Pricing & AI Quiz Generation Limits
Institute plans (Starter, Plus, Growth, Scale) and the Individual Student plan each include a daily cap on AI-generated quizzes per student, and (for institute plans) a maximum number of student/teacher accounts. These figures are shown on our pricing page and in-app.
These limits are current limits and may be changed in the future at our discretion, for example as AI usage costs change; where practical we will provide advance notice of reductions.
If you (the institute or individual student) supply your own AI API key, we can enable unlimited AI quiz generation on your selected plan at no extra platform charge.
You may upgrade from your current plan to any higher plan at any time by paying only the price difference for the remainder of your current billing cycle — you do not pay the full new-plan price again.
The "Try a Sample Quiz" feature available to visitors before signup does not require an account and does not store or save your responses.
5. Content Ownership
Quiz questions, explanations and branding on the Portal are the property of Aven Academy / Kartexa unless otherwise noted, and are provided solely for the academic use of enrolled students. Reproduction or redistribution of quiz content outside the Portal without permission is not permitted.
6. Shareable Result Links
Students may generate a private link to their own result for sharing with a parent, teacher, or peer, and may download a PDF copy. You are responsible for whom you share this link with — anyone holding the link can view that specific result.
7. WhatsApp Sharing Feature
Quiz codes and submission confirmations may be shared via WhatsApp using pre-filled message buttons on the Portal. This is a convenience feature; the Portal is not affiliated with WhatsApp/Meta, and standard WhatsApp terms apply to any messages sent this way.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Portal available during scheduled quiz windows but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. In case of technical issues during a live quiz, contact your teacher/admin promptly.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Portal is provided on an "as is" basis for academic/educational purposes. Aven Academy and Kartexa are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the Portal, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Portal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
